Primary 4

Hello from Primary 4!

It is hard to believe that we are almost finished Term Two in Primary 4 and there is still so much to do!

Our topic from now until Easter is Dinosaurs.  We will be finding out more about the dinosaurs - their features, habitats and eating habits.  We will learn about the different time periods that dinosaurs lived, as well as the very complicated names of some of the breeds!

The next few weeks will be incredibly busy as we prepare to make our First Holy Communion in May.  We have been learning our prayers and attending Mass every week to learn the responses.  Shortly we will have our Enrolment Ceremony to show God and everyone around us that we are ready and understand the importance of the Sacrament we will be receiving.

We are still enjoying our visits to Carnlough library every Thursday morning.  Julie and Norman are very helpful to us when we are looking for topic books and books by authors we enjoy.  Our author for World Book Month is Roald  Dahl and we have spotted many of his books in the library!

Keep checking the website for updates on what we have been getting up to in class.

Bye for now!
