Primary 7
Welcome to Primary 7 with Mrs O’Neill and Shauna!
Term 1 has begun in Primary 7, and all the girls and boys are delighted to be back! We have a busy term with all our academic work, thinking about our new school year and also having fun along the way!
Our topic this term is the 'Ancient Egypt' which everyone is quite excited about! We will be learning about the history of Ancient Egypt, what daily life was like for the Ancient Egyptians, finding out about the pyramids and the pharaohs and lots more! We will be visiting the Ulster Museum in Belfast later on in the term, which will hopefully be a great day out and learning experience for the children!
Our novel this term is ‘The Ancient Egyptian Sleepover.’
Through Numeracy we will be completing lots of place value work, addition, subtraction of larger numbers as well as Fractions, percentages and decimals work.
We are taking part in swimming lessons in Larne each week as part of our PE curriculum.
Keep an eye out on our website/Facebook page to check out what we have been getting up to.
