✨ Welcome to P6 with Miss Cosgrove and Emma ✨

We are all delighted to be back in school after our Christmas holidays. Everyone has settled back in and we are making great progress in our academic work. Our class WAU topic for this term is "Out of this World". P5/6 were sent an email from Mars, tasking asking them to help the Aliens promote tourism in Space. 

As part of their topic they will be exploring the vast Construction Industry, engaging with builders, architects and many others who work in the industry. They will find out what it takes to create their own Construction Company, while in a bid to win the contract for "The Out of this World Hotel." Combining all areas of learning, with many cross-curricular opportunities P5/6 can not wait to explore this exciting and engaging topic.  

Within Numeracy we will be exploring different areas of our topic, money through the cost of our hotel, decimals and fractions, by dividing and sectioning areas. We will incorporate various practical lessons, getting outdoor for numeracy as much as we can.
