P2/3 had a brilliant afternoon out in the school garden tidying, weeding and levelling the soil to get the garden ready for planting our vegetables next week. As part of our 'Staying healthy' topic we are going to plant our very own veg which we will grow, look after and use! We have found out that September is a good month for planting onions, spring onion and lettuce so will start with that! Mrs O'Neill and Una were so proud of how well the boys and girls worked this afternoon, with how observant they were with all the creatures they were finding and with how well prepared our garden now is! Fantastic boys and girls!😀
