What a brilliant start to Jolly Phonics! Primary 1 loved learning about Sammy Snake and the ‘ssssssssss’ sound! When we talked about ‘sss’ words we realised that the beach had lots of them - stones, sand, seashells, seaweed, sticks, sea…even salt! So on Wednesday we took our phonics work to the beach and everyone had a brilliant time!
