Primary 7's new topic of chocolate has gotten off to a great start! Today we went on a walk to Spar to buy chocolate to use during numeracy lessons next week. The children were each given some money to spend on chocolate and they had to try to find the best value for money when buying their favourite treats. Next week we will be working with money, word problems and percentages and will be using the goodies that we bought to do this. If they work really hard we might even get to enjoy the treats after!😀
