Gruffalo hunt
What a morning we had exploring Glenarm forest on our Gruffalo hunt. The boys and girls collected a wealth of twigs, leaves, sticks and acorns to bring back for our class forest and then we started to search for any clues that might lead us to the Gruffalo. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we found purple prickles on the forest floor and what looked like part of the Gruffalo’s jaws and turned out toes! There were TWO mini Gruffalo teddies hiding as well as an owl! On our way out of the forest we think we may have found the Gruffalo’s home and some children even think they caught a glimpse of the Gruffalo himself. The boys and girls have so many stories to tell!
