Today we carried out an investigation - how can we melt ice quickly? The children were put into groups and each group was given an ice cube. We used 6 different ways to try and melt the ice cube - heat, cold, water, salt, sugar and sand. The results were not what we predicted!! The heat didn’t melt the ice as quickly as we thought and the sugar made the ice cube bigger! Ask us about what else we found out.😊
