“I’ll be back”
9th Mar 2018
P5 have been looking at how birds migrate during different seasons. The boys and girls found it incredible that the birds could fly to different countries and always return.
The boys and girls decided to create something that would always return, a Boomerang. Using cardboard the class measured their cardboards and cut out their templates. The class created a 4 winged boomerang by stapling their two strips together. They folded each edge to create a flap that would allow the boomerang to move in the right direction to return.
Check out their models and the children putting them to the test!
