P.4, P.5, P.6 and P.7 had a visit from Larne FC today. Gavin Clements and two professional footballers met with each class and invited them to participate in an art competition. Each class were asked to create a supporters flag for Larne FC. The pupils will have to put their creative and team work skills to the test in order to design a suitable flag. The winning flag will be flown at Larne's football pitch. During the visit P.6 even challenged the footballers to complete some of their Numeracy work! Gavin will return to the school in a couple of weeks with healthy snacks for the children sponsored by ASDA. The children can't wait to participate in this! ⚽️
