Mental health week in P3
For mental health week we looked at the five ways to well-being.
Connect - We connected with each other by writing kindness notes and sharing them during circle time.
Be active - We completed our daily mile.
Take notice - We completed a range of activities to help us. We discussed and talked about our feelings and how we can manage them. We threw our ‘sad’ feelings away using stones, spent time at the park to make ourselves feel better and we relaxed in the sun listening to nature.
Keep learning - We learnt lots of new things in school this week and one new activity we took part in was a barefoot walk across the beach with a toe dip in the ocean to make us feel good!
Give - We gave each other a kindness note. 😁
It has been a brilliant week promoting mental health in P3!
