P7 had a fantastic afternoon visiting the Heritage Hub as part of their ‘Quarry’ topic. Mary and Kathleen were so welcoming and Mary shared a wealth of information with the children about the history of Carnlough and the significance of the Quarry.
Children had lots of time to explore the displays and the videos on show as well as complete crayon rubbings, dress up and complete jigsaws of the village.
A big thank you to Mary and Kathleen for the juice and treats also.
This really is a fantastic resource for the village! We will be back!
