Primary 6/7 Easter Activities
2nd Apr 2020
Hello Primary 6 and 7! It’s great to see that everyone is working away at home. I have seen some of the bridge projects and they look fantastic. I am also really pleased to see the amount of reading that is going on too. Well done!
Here are a few activities that will keep you busy during the days coming up to Easter.
Numeracy
- Complete the Easter Co-ordinates activity to reveal an Easter themed picture - see link.
- Mrs Haughey has given you £50 to plan an Easter Party for all pupils in our Primary 6 and 7 class. Every pupil should have a drink, sweets and crisps. Can you plan a party for the class and use as much of the £50 as possible? Remember you can't go over the budget! (Use online shopping prices e.g. (Asda, Tesco)
Literacy
- Complete the comprehension by clicking on the Easter Story link.
- Write a persuasive letter to your mum. You have gone shopping and you need to persuade her to buy you the biggest Easter egg in the shop. Remember, if you don't persuade her, you won’t get the egg!
WAU
- Carry out some research where Easter came from and why do we have Easter eggs? This website may be helpful. https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/17597617
Art
- Create your own baby chick by printing off the picture, colouring it in and follow the instructions on the sheet (instructions found at the bottom of the page) - see link.
Have a great Easter and don’t forget to eat plenty of chocolate!
