In class we discussed the many uses of the internet and the number of ways we can access details using the internet. The children are very aware of how to find information or play games using the internet so the safety message this week has been very important. We used the interactive whiteboard to discuss a story about a boy who used his tablet to play games and chat to friends, but encountered some dangers as he was online. We learned a song and then designed posters to promote safe use of the internet. Hopefully the children will all remember the message from Safer Internet Day.
