Sense Stations
Last week Primary 1 and Primary 2 had a sense-ational time putting all our sense work to the test! We have been learning all about our 5 senses and on Friday we put four of our senses into action at 4 different sense stations!
At station one the boys and girls put their ears to work. They experimented with various instruments finding out what sounds they could make and hear.
We’ve been using our sense of sight, and at station 2 we used magnifying glasses to explore the vibrant colours and textures in our Autumn tray.
Station 3 inspired some fantastic adjectives as the children described many different textures and feeling through touch. They felt items in boxes and guessed what they were, and explored how things changed when wet.
Finally the children explored their sense of smell. They guessed the smells coming from 9 different cups - some much nicer than others!
