Primary 2 , along with Primary 5/6 braved the elements today to assist Laura from the North Antrim Community Network to plant trees in the school grounds. The pupils worked in groups to plant their tree, which was either a Wild Cherry or Hawthorn tree. First Laura demonstrated how to plant the tree and to make sure the roots were covered. Muscles were required as the ground was very stoney! Everyone worked well together and helped each other with the planting. Now we just have to wait for up to 2 years to see the white flowers appear on the trees!
