📔World Book Day in P7📔
Primary 7 have had a lovely day celebrating World Book Day!
Firstly, we had a visit to Carnlough Library, which after two long years was just brilliant!! Sarah gave the children a very informative tour and told them how they could be making best use of the library. She gave them a little quiz, followed by a World Book Day author activity. Children were then able to browse for and borrow their books.
Back at school we listened to an extract from ‘The World’s Worst Class’ before some of the children read extracts for us from their own favourite book.
In groups we looked at advertising posters for books and created amazing posters of our own from some of our favourite books!
Well done Primary 7. I hope you are all re-enthused about reading for enjoyment and take up the reading challenge that I have set for you throughout book month!
