St John's Primary School, Carnlough

Primary 7

In P7 there are 19 pupils: 13 girls and 6 boys.  The pupils in P7 take their role as the senior class in the school very seriously and realise they must set very high standards both in their behaviour and work so they can act as good role models for the other, younger children.

P7 attend Mass every Monday morning in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation later in the year.  Parents are very welcome to attend as well

P7 also visit Carnlough Library every other Thursday from 2.10pm to 2.50pm to refine their library skills.

P7 pupils will commence their Faith Friends' programme with the Y13s of St Killian's on Thursday 22nd February and it will run on a weekly-session basis until Tuesday 27th March.  We are very thankful to the Y13s and to Ms Mc Loughlin and the principal, Mr Brady for ensuring our P7s have the opportunity to participate in a series of lessons whereby they can explore and hopefully strengthen their own faith as they prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation.
