St John's Primary School, Carnlough

Primary 7

In P7 there are 19 pupils: 13 girls and 6 boys.  The pupils in P7 take their role as the senior class in the school very seriously and realise they must set very high standards both in their behaviour and work so they can act as good role models for the other, younger children

P7 attend Mass every Monday morning in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation later in the year.  Parents are very welcome to attend as well

P7 also visit Carnlough Library every Tuesday from 2.10pm to 2.50pm to refine their library skills.

P7 pupils will take part in the F1 finals in Ballymena during April while they will also be busy preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wed 23rd May.  Into the bargain, they will also attend a Food Science event in QUB where they will make a presentation about Chloroplasts on Tuesday 22nd May.  Dr Michael Stewart from QUB has already been  in the school and carried out an investigation on the effect different colours have on chloroplasts.
