St John's Primary School, Carnlough

Primary 7

Welcome to Primary 7 class of 2018/2019! In our class there are 21 pupils: 10 girls and 11 boys. Our teacher is Mrs McCracken.

As we have reached our final year in St. John's Primary School and Carnlough Community Nursery we are ready to take on lots of responsibilities and challenges, and we are determined to finish off our time here with a bang. We want to leave with happy memories and set a good example of the other children in the school.

Throughout the year we will attend Mass every Monday morning in preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation later in the year.  Parents are very welcome to attend as well, we would love to see you there! P7 also visit Carnlough Library every Tuesday from 2.10pm to 2.50pm to refine our library skills and during this first term we will be going swimming at Larne Leisure Centre to further the skills we have been working since Primary 5. On Friday mornings we take part in hurling sessions with Mr McKinley, and as you can see from the photos, there are some very talented children in our class!

Our first topic in Primary 7 is The Victorians. Keep your eyes peeled for come updates on what we get up to as we take on our final year here in St. John's!
